Système de transport automatique horizontal sur lequel les piétons embarquent à une vitesse normale (de 2 à 3 km/h) mais qui ensuite accélère jusque vers 12-18 km/h pour retrouver une vitesse lente en fin de course. Principe: des plaques rectangulaires formant plancher posées sur un treillis métallique déformable se déplacent les unes par rapport aux autres pour permettre l'accélération.
